The Yugoslavian Standardization Institute (SZS) was founded in 1946 and is concerned with the adoption and application of standards, technical norms for product quality and services, and regulations covered by legislation. Yugoslavian standards begin with the prefix JUS which is followed by an alphanumeric code. The first letter of the code denotes the section under which the standard is classified. Most standards relating to metallurgy are in section C. Example: JUSC 0.501; JUSC 3.052; JUSC.B0.500; JUSC.J3.011
